Makayla and Kiara

So, I have a best friend, I have known this girl since she was about seven years old and came to day care one time... But I remember that time, she taught me how to gargle, and I have known her ever since haha.

The years immediately after the gargling incident are ones of tough times, i'll warn you now, don't read on if you cant handle it...

So, I was at Meander primary and Kiara at Our Lady of Mercy (Called OLOM from here on), and miracle of all miracles, I changed to OLOM at the start of grade 5 =) Soooo, we became friends for real, and have been inseperable ever since...

This girl thinks she lives at my house (it's hilarious)... She even has a toothbrush in the bathroom draw alongside mine =) When she comes over she requests her favourite dinner off my dad, and my mum even smacks her believe it or not =p

So, in our six years of friendship we have done some pretty funny things =) Being chased by plovers at 2am, a fishing trip that we only got one cast, riding our bikes through mud puddles, sea kayaking, and dancing to napoleon dynamite just to name a few... The point is, we always have fun even if we are doing nothing...

These pictures are from our last hang out together, we went to the movies, then maccas, then Andys at about 1:30am... So these photos are from about 2:30am, of us just being silly =) ...

We're best friends this girl and I =) I love her like Romeo loves Juliet, like Noah loves Allie, like Pooh Bear loves Tigger, like Spongebob loves Patrick, and like Mater loves Sally. We'll be best friends forever =)

Convention =)

So i havnt gotten to write a blog for ages coz it never works, so i thought i'd try again with convention =)

I think everyone will agree that this years convention totally owned last years! =) It was absolutely fantastic! This year the convention was centered around the youth theme for the year 1 Timothy 4:12 "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

There was about 80 youth in attendance, with people coming from all over Tasmania. Everyone was super friendly and got along well =) The environment everyone created was so filled with the spirit, and was full of happiness =) No one was mean or nasty, but everyone got along and had a good time =)

The activities included; watching the dvds we all made, a service project, an obstacle course, a formal dinner and dance, church, workshops, a fireside, a testimony meeting, and swimming. It was action packed and great fun =)

The testimonies shared on sunday were beautiful and from the heart, im not sure if there was a single person in the room with dry eyes...

Convention was a blast! I'm totally coming next year even though i will be 18 haha. Here are a few pics from our fun =) Best weekend EVER!!! =)
